The first conference was held from November 20 to December 10, 1946 at the Sorbonne University in Paris, with its headquarters located in Paris, France.
At the end of 2012, the headquarters officially relocated to the United States (Florida).
Before the exam, I practiced repeatedly to ensure everything was perfect. However, as soon as I stepped into the examination room, nervousness followed me like a shadow. The exam environment was quite reassuring, with no issues regarding the equipment or layout. During the performance, I tried my best to stay composed, but my fingers didn’t always cooperate, and a few notes went astray. After listening, the examiner kindly pointed out how I could improve my rhythm control, which was truly enlightening. Despite the flaws in this exam, it was a valuable experience that helped me grow.
I put a lot of effort into preparing for this exam, yet I couldn’t shake off the pre-exam jitters. Inside the examination room, everything went smoothly and according to plan. While performing, I kept reminding myself to stay calm, but I still stumbled during a finger transition. After listening, the examiner patiently explained the emotional layers of the piece, making me realize how shallow my previous understanding had been. This exam taught me that technique alone is not enough; depth and insight are equally important. I know I must work harder moving forward.

During the performance, I focused on staying steady, and overall, I was fairly satisfied with my delivery. After listening, the examiner directly pointed out that my dynamics lacked variety and advised me to focus on slow practice and careful score reading in my regular training. This exam taught me that success lies in the details, and I need to refine my skills more comprehensively in the future.
