The International Music and Arts Association (IMAA) was established on November 5, 1945,
The first conference was held from November 20 to December 10, 1946 at the Sorbonne University in Paris, with its headquarters located in Paris, France.
At the end of 2012, the headquarters officially relocated to the United States (Florida).
